Good YouTube channels can be hard to find, especially in the personal finance space. Fortunately, I’ve taken the time to look through a plethora of channels, and I’ve found some that will be great resources throughout your personal finance journey! Without further ado, let’s dive into 16 of the best personal finance YouTubers.
BiggerPockets
Biggerpockets is a pretty large YouTube channel, and they’re a fantastic resource for everything related to real estate investing. So, for all my real estate fans, this is probably one of the better channels out there for you. From real estate news, the BRRRR method, analytics, success stories, general tips, and even short-term investing – they cover it all!
Graham Stephan
You’ve likely heard of Graham Stephan, as he runs one of the biggest personal finance channels out there. He started with a focus on real estate, and he still covers that regularly, but he also covers most other personal finance topics now too. His videos are good, packed with information, and well worth a watch.
Even when a topic is simple, he drops in tidbits you may not have considered before. He’s not just a random voice either, he has clocked in over $120,000,000 in real estate sales! That’s quit an accomplishment by itself.
The White Coat Investor
The White Coat Investor, as you may’ve guessed, is more geared towards helping doctors and high income earners with their personal finances. While you’ll definitely get more out of their content if you’re a doctor, they have tons of content that is good for everyone, especially the high earners out there.
Wealth Hacker – Jeff Rose
Wealth Hacker is a great channel, and his videos tend to run a bit longer than others. He loves doing deep dives into different topics, which really helps give the full picture. If there’s any personal finance topic you wish school covered, you can probably find it on his channel.
His And Her Money
This couple started out in debt, but has successfully saved up and made millions! They’ve gone through it all, the struggles of communicating with a spouse about finances, counseling, and the hard work it takes to secure your finances. They’re a great resource for couples, and they’re open about how their faith has influenced their process too.
Debt Free Millennials
Can you guess the niche? This channel is all about personal finance for millennials! The creator, Justine, paid off over $30,000 in debt (on a salary that was not much more) in less than three years. She teaches a lot of frugal tips that will help you save money and finally get rid of that pesky debt.
Nate O’Brien
Nate is another large YouTuber who helps with your personal finance needs. He seems to focus more on increasing your income, but he also covers some topics for those leading a frugal lifestyle. If you’re into minimalism or becoming more productive, he’s a great resource.
The Financial Diet
The Financial Diet is another general personal finance channel. What makes them stand out, and is a shared goal of Bitter to Richer, is that they explain things for the layman. If you want simple, concise answers, this is the place to find them. There are also some non-so-concise videos, but they tend to cover a range of topics within them.
Financial Education
Jeremy, from Financial Education, offers content for all sorts of people – from just about every background imaginable. He has a lot of interesting content on personal finance and entrepreneurship, so check him out!
It’s Your Girl Rose
It’s Your Girl Rose is all about financial freedom and ways to achieve that. Consequently, she covers a wide range of personal finance topics. Her videos are interesting, focused, and well-researched. For personal finance topics including crypto, side hustles, debt, and even book recommendations – take a peek at her videos.
Ryan Scribner
Ryan’s main focus is investing. He also covers a lot of other personal finance topics, but his best stuff (and main focus) is geared towards investments. If you’re looking to go from a beginner investor, to an advanced investor, his content is excellent!
Nick True – MappedOutMoney
Nick covers a lot of personal finance topics. The content is good, and detailed. What I love most about his videos is how it’s geared towards using money do get what you want out of life. He’s got some unconventional advice, for those with unconventional goals, as well as all the other fundamentals everyone needs for financial success.
Budget Girl
Sarah, from Budget Girl, is all about using money to take control of your life. She had a lot of student debt and she paid it all off in three years! Her content covers saving money, making money, and annihilating debt. She has many videos, ranging from bite-sized content to longer in-depth discussions.
Chris Winter Tutorials
Chris has a lot of content on a myriad of financial topics. One of his main focuses is on making money through entrepreneurship. He has lots of guides that can help a lot of people out, especially as they’re starting their side hustles. If you’re interested in making money online, he is definitely a YouTuber you should check out.
One Big Happy Life
One Big Happy Life is a channel where a family shares all of their tips and tricks for money management. They also have some DIY and time management content that is worth looking at, especially for parents.
Our Rich Journey
Our Rich Journey is about the journey (get it?) a family of four took to reach their FIRE goals. At 39 they retired and moved to Portugal! It’s definitely an interesting story, and worth a watch for those looking into creative ideas for early retirement.
